MHP's response to Özgür Özel regarding Serdar Öktem: 'Those who wag their fingers will have them poked in their eyes'

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel criticized MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli during his party's group meeting, drawing attention to his failure to respond to questions regarding the murdered lawyer Serdar Öktem.

Recalling the events that took place in Ankara, Özel used harsh language directed at Bahçeli.

HARSH REACTION FROM YALÇIN

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın responded by describing Özel's remarks as "insolent and impudent." Yalçın stated that Özel does not fit the "mold of a chairman" and expressed that the language of threats and finger-wagging would not be accepted by the MHP.

Yalçın stated, "Those who threaten us will be answered in the language they understand; the finger of those who wag it will be poked into their eyes with a corresponding retort" he said.
