MHP's Feti Yıldız announces: Monitoring Commission to be established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in the new legislative year

MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız announced that a new commission will be established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in the new legislative year.

In a statement on his social media account, Yıldız reported that a Monitoring Commission would be formed within the scope of the "Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration."

According to Feti Yıldız's post, the commission will be formed by taking into account the representation ratios of the political parties that have a group or representation in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It was stated that the purpose of the commission is to monitor and audit the relevant process transparently.

THE COMMISSION WILL FOLLOW THE PROCESS

Yıldız reminded that the bill in question was enacted on August 10 with 467 votes in favor. He stated that the duties and powers of the commission, which is planned to be established with the start of the new legislative year, are regulated in Article 7 of the law.

According to the statement, the Monitoring Commission will closely follow the processes and practices within the scope of the law; it will be able to submit recommendation decisions to the relevant authorities according to the course of the work carried out. The commission will also evaluate and audit the briefings submitted to the Parliament by the Follow-up and Evaluation Board, which conducts the process on behalf of the executive branch, and will prepare process reports.
