MHP's Yalçın makes 'normalization' and 'softening' reference via Bahçeli: 'It is a reminder of who owns the place'

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın, in a written statement regarding the "Together Towards the Crescent Turkey Meetings," stated that the management system of all states established by the Turkish nation since it appeared on the stage of history has been shaped by an understanding of national sovereignty and unity.

Stating that the Turks, who advanced from east to west in pursuit of the ideal of Turkish world domination based on the divine mandate (Tanrı kutu), carried both their state traditions and their understanding of governance and national sovereignty to the new geographies where they settled, Yalçın used the following expressions: "Our nation's determination for sovereignty has wrapped around the Anatolian land, our last ancestral home, like the roots of a great plane tree; the reflex of existence has nourished it, and the will for unity has leavened the social structure."

REFERENCE TO SOFTENING AND NORMALIZATION

Yalçın made the following assessments:

"The constructive attitude displayed by our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, towards the representatives of some political parties in recent days is a result of the justified necessity felt for our country, which always makes its greatness felt abroad, to also present a picture of unity and integrity at home. The hand extended by Mr. Devlet Bahçeli is an expression of the desire to maintain the thousand-year-old law of brotherhood and the determination to live together. The hand extended by our Chairman reminds those who know, those who do not know, and those who deny the owner of national sovereignty in the geography we live in. Our Chairman's move is not a step of concession, softening, or normalization, but rather a reminder of the owners of the norm, the owners of the place."

Emphasizing that in a climate where Turkey is going through a difficult period and the region and the world are passing through a ring of fire, it is essential that the rules of conflict and political struggle be shaped in line with national interests, Yalçın stated that state wisdom requires this.

'IT IS NOT THE TIME FOR DEM, BREWING, OR DREAMING OF POWER'

Yalçın stated, "MHP Leader Mr. Devlet Bahçeli has also taken this reality into account. This step is not a sign of helplessness or weakness; on the contrary, it is an indicator of the state's greatness and majesty, and a sign of the MHP's self-confidence. It is not the time for 'Dem' (the party), brewing, or dreaming of power. The era is not an era of separation, camp-building, or polarization. Because the activities of Israel, the last subcontractor of imperialism in the region, threaten Turkey's security and regional interests."
