Having served as a marriage officer in Sivas for many years, Muzaffer Güner had officiated the weddings of many people in the city.
Güner had resigned from his civil service position 4 days ago to announce his candidacy for the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) mayoral nomination in Hafik. It was learned that Güner, who passed away after suffering a heart attack yesterday, will be laid to rest following a funeral prayer to be held at the Ayyıldız Mosque after the afternoon prayer.
