Minister Uraloğlu out for a walk while the neighborhood burns: A debate involving verses on social media between Muharrem İnce and Minister Uraloğlu!

Muharrem İnce, who recently left the Homeland Party (Memleket Partisi) and joined the CHP, targeted Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu in a post on the social media platform X.

Highlighting the wildfires occurring across Turkey, İnce shared a video of Uraloğlu walking. In his post, İnce included the phrase, "Today's version of those who comb their hair while the neighborhood burns."

IT TURNED OUT THE VIDEO WAS OLD

It was determined that the video in question was from one day before the wildfire in Bursa intensified, and that Minister Uraloğlu was working in coordination with teams in the fire zone.

It was noted that while Muharrem İnce was sharing the old footage, Minister Uraloğlu was at the fire site with Bursa Governor Erol Ayyıldız and the head of the fire department of the CHP-run Bursa Municipality.

Muharrem İnce made a post on his social media account following the response Uraloğlu gave him. At the end of his post, İnce responded to Uraloğlu, who had answered him with a verse, with another verse.

In his social media post, İnce said,

"Mr. Minister of Transport, while you were walking accompanied by pine trees, where and in how many different places were there forest fires in Turkey? Do you have any idea how many people were struggling for their lives at that moment? Why can't these forest fires be extinguished? Incompetence is striking and destroying Turkey, our forests, and our nature; this is what we are trying to say. Let me say goodbye to you with a verse: 'Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice.'"
