’Mother’s Day’ message from Devlet Bahçeli

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli celebrated the May 12 ’Mother’s Day’ in a post on his social media account X.

The post included the following statements:

"A mother is the emblem of compassion and fortitude, the symbol of patience and common sense, along with unconditional love. Every mother is special, every mother is important, every mother is a source of pride. Let us not upset them, let us not hurt them, let us never turn our backs on them. Let us know that a mother is our first light in life, our first warmth, our first security, our sun and our bouquet of flowers between our first breath and our last. A mother being broken or offended means the world becoming sorrowful. With the prayer of being worthy of the blessings of our mothers, who are the towers of sacrifice, I wish a healthy life to our mothers who are alive, healing to those currently under treatment, and mercy from Almighty Allah to our mothers who have passed away. Starting with our martyr mothers, I sincerely congratulate all our mothers on Mother’s Day and offer my infinite respects."
