Much-discussed 'ministry' gossip regarding Murat Kurum! Will failure be rewarded?

A striking claim has emerged regarding Murat Kurum, the People's Alliance candidate who competed against CHP candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu in the March 31 Local Elections and lost the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) mayoral race.

Gazete Pencere columnist Nuray Babacan wrote about what is being discussed in AKP corridors regarding Kurum.

Making this assessment, Babacan conveyed the inside information regarding Murat Kurum with the following words:

"An interesting topic of conversation is also about Murat Kurum, who was nominated for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoralty with grand launches. There are those who claim that Kurum will be brought in to replace Minister of Environment and Urbanization Mehmet Özhaseki, who has health problems. However, the majority express that such a change, which would mean rewarding failure, would be wrong."
