Photographer and architect Murat Germen was detained at Sabiha Gökçen Airport upon his return from abroad. Germen was referred to the Istanbul Courthouse as part of an investigation launched against him on allegations of supporting a boycott.
Photographer and architect Murat Germen was detained yesterday at approximately 19:55 while returning to the country from abroad with his wife and was taken to the Sabiha Gökçen Airport Branch Directorate.

Germen, who spent the night in police custody, was referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. It was learned that proceedings were initiated against Murat Germen on charges of 'inciting the public to hatred and hostility' and 'preventing a person from engaging in ordinary economic activity by discriminating between individuals'.
