Continuing his local election campaign, Murat Kurum, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate for the People's Alliance, formed by the AKP and MHP, attended a suhoor program organized at his party's Istanbul provincial headquarters.

Claiming that Istanbul has been in a period of stagnation for 5 years, Kurum said, "God willing, 9 days from now, we are heading to an election where we will put an end to this bad course of Istanbul."

"THE BALKANS WILL REJOICE, GAZA WILL REJOICE, AHISKA TURKS WILL REJOICE"

Stating that Istanbul has an important place in Turkey and the whole world, Kurum used the following expressions: "This election is not just an election that concerns Istanbul. The Balkans will rejoice, Gaza will rejoice. The Ahiska Turks will rejoice. All the oppressed will rejoice. Because Istanbul is not just a city that concerns 81 provinces. Istanbul is a city that concerns the whole world. Eliminating the earthquake risk in Istanbul is our national security issue, our issue of survival. That is why we have to carry out these works. We have to entrust this sacred city to our future, to our children."
