Müsavat Dervişoğlu to Ünal: 'I am not going to the mountains, I am going to Samsun'
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu responded on social media to criticisms directed at him by Aydın Ünal, a former speechwriter for President Erdoğan.
Aydın Ünal, a former speechwriter for President Erdoğan and a columnist for Yeni Şafak, targeted İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu in an assessment regarding the PKK's decision to disband.
Ünal commented that Dervişoğlu was "almost ready to pick up a Kalashnikov and head to the mountains," effectively associating the İYİ Party Chairman with terrorists.
In response to this statement, Dervişoğlu replied to Ünal via the social media platform X.
Quoting a news report containing Ünal's remarks, Dervişoğlu stated, "You and people like you cannot understand me. I am not going to the mountains, I am heading to Samsun on Sunday!"
With this response, Dervişoğlu showed a sharp reaction to Ünal's criticisms while also highlighting his upcoming visit to Samsun.
