Harsh words from Müsavat Dervişoğlu to Bahçeli: 'Do you think we don't know who is spinning you like a top?'

With the new year, party group meetings are continuing where they left off. İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu spoke at his party's group meeting.

''Today, the ruling entourage has reached the same point as the baby killer. Balgat, Beştepe, and İmralı have come together. It is important what decision those who hold love for Atatürk in their minds and hearts will make.

We will not bow down to these incompetent, ambitious people who bungle everything they touch, except for selling off the country parcel by parcel. Even if the world remains silent, we will not.

They have been trying this plan for 22 years and they never give up. With every attempt, they have harmed the Turkish state. Their audacity today is higher than it was yesterday.

Before, they called him a baby killer; today, they call him the sage of İmralı.

Whatever the July 15 process was, the October 24 process is the same for us.

Two men are dragging Turkey into a great catastrophe. Today, there is no 'p' for peace. Because the government has declared war on its own citizens.''

We will never be together, consciously or unconsciously, with these ruling partners who ignore the will of the Parliament.

Whatever they call it, we will not hold meetings or negotiations behind closed doors with networks of betrayal. We have nothing to hide from this great nation.

The time has begun to fight in Parliament, on the streets, and everywhere to tear up and discard this plan, just like the Treaty of Mudros or the Treaty of Sèvres.

We will not allow Turkey to be de-Turkified. We will not allow the Republic to be destroyed.

HE RESPONDED TO BAHÇELİ

Perhaps this is not the place, but I want it to be known that from now on, I will refrain from showing courtesy and respect to certain people who do not deserve it. Because there are those who abuse the courtesy shown to them. There are those who are not ashamed to exploit the sensitivity we show due to the family upbringing we received and our respect for our past, turning it into opportunism. I am addressing them from here; my respect is not for you, but for the seat you occupy. Because I know the first and true owner of that seat. I hope you consider the respect I have shown you until now as alms for the loyalty I feel toward the true owner of that seat. This much is enough for you, and any more would not suit me anyway. We know who is spinning you like a top.

FOCUS ON THOSE WHO ARE COMING, NOT THOSE WHO ARE LEAVING

It should not be forgotten that we have a responsibility to our voters as much as we do to our citizens. If there is anyone who has a plan of action contrary to this, who has other calculations, or who has another authority to answer to other than the İYİ Party voters, let them know that there is no place for them among us. Because there is no mercy for betrayal during a national struggle.

If there is anyone who still does not know what the votes they were elected with mean, who does not understand what the parliamentary duty given by those voters requires, or who prefers to avoid this struggle instead of waging it, the places where the doors are open to you are well known.

At those doors, there are also those who want to pin higher-grammage badges on those who see the weight of the parliamentary badge they wear on their lapel as nothing more than a figure on a jeweler's scale. We do not need those whose courage and honor are worth 3 grams; this party is not a photo studio for those trying to pose as politicians. We are the party of those who owe nothing to anyone but their nation and their voters, and who have nothing on their minds other than this country.

Let no one dare to see themselves above this great loyalty and sweat. Let no one attempt to act as a hero by engaging in social media showmanship with coffeehouse gossip while the Turkish Nation's state is being seized by the ignorant and a total uprising is being staged against its existence. Let those with good intentions also measure and shape their deeds with the same goodness. We have no need for the opposite.

Let it be known that whoever wants to create futile problems within the İYİ Party is one and the same with those who look at the Turkish Nation as a problem and create problems. And the İYİ Party, which is the hearth of this struggle, has no need for them. I no longer have the patience to meet these with tolerance. Three people brought freedom, 19 people started the War of Independence. Whoever I am with here today, I will be with them in the future. Starting from today, you will focus on those who are coming, not those who are leaving.
