In the message sent to mobile lines across Istanbul, it was seen that IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu used the phrases, "For a lush green spring and a future full of hope... Happy Nevruz Holiday".
WHAT HAPPENED? DETENTION PROCESS AND ACCUSATIONS
İmamoğlu was taken into custody on the morning of March 19, 2025, on charges of corruption and aiding a terrorist organization. As part of the same operation, detention warrants were issued for 106 people, including municipal officials.
