In Ankara political circles, it is being discussed that prominent figures from the nationalist-idealist wing will join the IYI Party.

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, the participation of former Idealist Hearths Education and Culture Foundation presidents Alişan Satılmış, Atila Kaya, and Suat Başaran in the IYI Party will take place on May 3, Turkism Day. Party officials state that the participation of Atila Kaya, in particular, will have a significant impact on the electorate. It is stated that nationalist voters are reacting against the Imralı process and that this situation is leading to a shift from the MHP to the IYI Party.
