Notable instruction from Bahçeli: To be established within MHP Headquarters

MHP Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir announced in a written statement that, upon the instruction of Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, a decision has been made to establish the Ahmed Javad Institute within the party headquarters to mark the 132nd anniversary of the birth of Ahmed Javad, the lyricist of the Azerbaijani national anthem and the poem "Çırpınırdın Karadeniz".

Stating that the purpose of the institute is to research the poet's multifaceted work, including his contributions to culture, art, and literature, as well as his contributions to the Turkic world, and to serve the expansion of a common unity of thought and sentiment within the Turkic world, Özdemir noted that Prof. Dr. Ruhi Ersoy, Chief Advisor to the Chairman, has been appointed to lead the institute with Bahçeli's approval.

Özdemir stated, "It is desired that the national consciousness and self-sacrifice of Ahmed Javad—who was one of the brightest and most powerful representatives of his era with his life and works, a thinker with a national stance, a benevolent intellectual who was executed by firing squad for his activities for Turkic consciousness, and who managed to write his name in golden letters in the history of literature and thought of the Turkic world—serve as a source for future generations for the unity and prosperity of the Turks. May his noble soul rest in peace."
