A new development has occurred in the separation process that began in the CHP following the "absolute nullity" decision. Özgür Özel, who signed the establishment petition for the YENİ Party, drew attention with the changes he made to his social media account.
While updating the cover photo on his X account, Özel removed the phrase "CHP Chairman" from his profile. This change became one of the first steps of the transition process to the new political entity to be reflected on social media.
HE SHARED THE PARTY'S LOGO WITH THE PUBLIC
Following his signing of the establishment petition, Özel also shared the YENİ Party's logo via his X account. It had been stated in previous announcements that red and white colors would be used in the new party's corporate identity.
With this post, the party's visual identity was also presented to the public for the first time.
NEW FORMATION WITH 91 DEPUTIES
According to the information provided, 90 other deputies resigned from the CHP along with Özgür Özel. Thus, it was reported that the number of deputies who left the CHP reached 91, including Özel.
The new political entity will be the main opposition group in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
