Numan Kurtulmuş on 50+1: 'There could be a revision to the Presidential Government System!'

Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş answered questions from journalists on the plane while returning from his visit to Indonesia.

Kurtulmuş made assessments regarding the Presidential Government System and the 50+1 rule.

Kurtulmuş stated that there could be revisions to the system within the framework of its five-year implementation.

"THERE IS NO TURNING BACK"

Stating that "there is no turning back from the Presidential Government System," Kurtulmuş expressed that instead of discussing issues related to the system one by one, it would be more appropriate to discuss these matters within the framework of a new constitution.

Responding to journalists' question, "Could President Erdoğan's 50+1 remarks cause any trouble within the People's Alliance?" the Parliament Speaker underlined that it would not cause any trouble, noting that a respectful relationship is maintained between Erdoğan and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli.
