YENİ Party Istanbul Founding Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik has announced his party's congress and primary election calendar for Istanbul. According to the announcement made by Çelik on his social media account, the YENİ Party's 1st Istanbul Provincial Congress will begin on Saturday, October 17, at 14.00 at the Istanbul Congress Center in Şişli.
On the second day of the congress process, a primary election will be held for the provincial chairmanship. On Sunday, October 18, between 10.00 and 17.00, ballot boxes will be set up in all 39 districts of Istanbul. Party members will be able to learn information regarding the areas where they will cast their votes from their respective district headquarters.
In his post, Çelik emphasized the role of members in decision-making processes, stating, "This invitation is ours: The word, the authority, and the decision belong to our members!"
