In the CHP, which became the leading party in the March 31 local elections, Chairman Özgür Özel spoke at his party's group meeting.

In his speech, where he stated that his party was the leading party in the April polls, Özel also said the following:

"In every poll conducted in Turkey in April, there was no other leading party than the CHP. The first poll for May has arrived, and the CHP is the leading party again. For the first time since they were founded, those who have failed to hear the voice of retirees in May 2024, and those who promised to abolish interviews but did not, are below 30 percent for the first time since their inception."
