Özgür Özel calls on retirees for April 1st and a yellow card

Wishing success to the candidates for neighborhood headman (muhtar), Özel stated, "After March 31, the doors of all CHP mayors will be wide open to both our citizens and our muhtars, just as they have been before."

"ATATÜRK ENTRUSTED THE REPUBLIC TO THE YOUTH"

Stating that knowledge and experience are important in politics and that they want to see an increase in the number of young people and women, Özel said, "Atatürk did not entrust the Republic to CHP chairmen, mayors, or members of parliament when he closed his eyes; Atatürk entrusted the Republic to the youth, so your burden is heavy, young people.

We have to work together and accomplish important things together. Emphasizing the youth is important, but retirees are the ones suffering the most in this country," he said.

Özel pointed out that his party's priority is retirees.

Expressing that they are well aware of the problems faced by retirees, Özel said, "I am waiting for all retirees in the squares after April 1st. April 1st is the day to show a yellow card to this government.

April 1st is the day to turn on the red light for those who say 'one can get by on 10 thousand liras'," he said.

Claiming that Turkey is not being governed well, Özel asked the voters to hold them accountable for this situation in the elections.

Stating that it is necessary to put forward a strong alliance against the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı) to ensure an environment where everyone's interests are protected and their voices are heard, Özel noted the following:

"The name of that alliance in this election is not the Nation Alliance (Millet İttifakı); the name of that alliance in this election is the Turkey Alliance. If the Turkey Alliance wins the elections—that is, if the Laz, the Circassian, the Turk, the Kurd, everyone unites in the Turkey Alliance—just as we all rejoice together when the national team scores a goal, and just as we all cry together when the Sultans of the Net become champions, if all the poor in this country, all the retirees, all the laborers, the young people worried about their future, the mothers and fathers who fear that 'my child will go abroad,' and the poor all unite together, we can win together. The name of this unity of ours is the Turkey Alliance."
