Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel visited Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce yesterday (June 19).

Speaking after the meeting, which was closed to the press and lasted 1 hour, CHP leader Özel said, "I have also made a few remarks regarding inviting Mr. Muharrem İnce and our friends in the Memleket Party back to their father's house. The next stage will be at their own discretion," thereby inviting İnce to the CHP.

Speaking after Özel, İnce stated, "In this difficult process, we must think not of our personal ambitions, but of our common dreams and the common good. In this difficult process, we must set aside resentments and grievances; we must prioritize unity and the common good. I attach great importance to this visit. In the coming period, I will hold a meeting with my authorized bodies, listen to their opinions, and visit the Chairman as soon as possible."

According to the report by Sözcü, it is expected that İnce will evaluate the situation with his staff and wear the party badge alongside his team at the parliamentary group meeting to be held on Tuesday.
