Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was invited to the 22nd Extraordinary Convention by CHP leader Özgür Özel, has made his decision. According to information obtained, Kılıçdaroğlu will not attend the convention.
Ahead of the Republican People's Party (CHP) 22nd Extraordinary Convention, Chairman Özgür Özel called former chairmen Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Hikmet Çetin, and Murat Karayalçın by phone to invite them to the event. While the attendance of Çetin and Karayalçın is expected, the situation regarding Kılıçdaroğlu was uncertain.
"KILIÇDAROĞLU WILL NOT ATTEND THE CONVENTION"
Journalist Fikret Bila stated in his remarks on Halk TV that Kılıçdaroğlu is continuing his work at his office in Ankara and will not attend the convention.
"Kılıçdaroğlu will not attend the convention. Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is continuing his work at his office in Ankara and is receiving visitors. He will not come to the convention; this matter is certain," said Bila, who also noted that Kılıçdaroğlu will maintain his silence on the matter until the lawsuit regarding the cancellation of the convention, which is set to be heard on October 24.
GÜRSEL TEKİN IS ALSO NOT ATTENDING
On the other hand, journalist İsmail Saymaz wrote that in addition to Kılıçdaroğlu, Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, will also not attend.
