Özgür Özel responds to Kılıçdaroğlu question: 'I won't take the bait'

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel met with fishermen in Sarıyer, Rumeli Feneri.

"A MINISTRY OF MARITIME AFFAIRS SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED"

Speaking to Sözcü TV before the event, Özel stated that a Ministry of Maritime Affairs should be established:

"The problems in fishing are numerous. Our Sinop Deputy Barış Karadeniz has traveled throughout the Black Sea, the Aegean, and the Mediterranean and has prepared solution proposals. The CHP is entering this season not only by showing that it knows the problems or by criticizing, but also by voicing its solution proposals. It is unacceptable for a country with as much sea as Turkey, surrounded on three sides by three magnificent seas, not to have a Ministry of Maritime Affairs. A Ministry of Maritime Affairs must be established."

Özel responded to the reporter's question, "İpek Özbey from the studio also has a question. A meeting with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is expected.
