Beykoz Deputy Mayor Özlem Vural Gürzel, who left the CHP to join the AKP, visited President Erdoğan's foster mother, Binnaz Baloğlu.
Beykoz Deputy Mayor Özlem Vural Gürzel made a notable visit following her resignation from the CHP and subsequent move to the AKP. Gürzel visited Binnaz Baloğlu, the foster mother of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at her home in Tokatköy. During the visit, Gürzel was accompanied by Gaye Zayıf, a member of the AKP Women's Branch MKYK and a municipal council member.
In a post on her social media account following the visit, Özlem Vural Gürzel thanked Binnaz Baloğlu for her hospitality, stating, "We visited our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's precious foster mother, Binnaz Baloğlu. I thank our mother Binnaz for accepting us with her tolerance and hospitality, and I wish her a healthy and peaceful life."
