In her statement, made at a time when tensions remain high on the Russia-Ukraine front, Zakharova expressed that her country approaches steps toward peace positively.
Spokesperson Zakharova added, "We are open to negotiations, but our priority in this process is the protection of our country's interests, consideration of the current situation on the ground, and ensuring compliance with relevant agreements."
