Pensioner crisis in AKP grows exponentially: 'Let's not talk about Erdoğan too much'

With 19 days left until the local elections, the political climate continues to heat up.

Sözcü columnist Aytunç Erkin shared messages from a WhatsApp group named "AKP Merzifon Election Coordination Center", established for the AKP's Merzifon district, in his column today.

The message was seen to contain the following statements:

“Friends, good evening to everyone. Let's tell the voters whose doors we knock on that we bring greetings from our AK Party Mayoral candidate Fatih Sütçü, our municipal council members, and our provincial general assembly members. Let's embellish this with nice words and sentences. Let's not talk about our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan too much. Especially pensioners are reacting. Let's pay attention to this. Friends who encounter such special situations should provide information here, I wish you a good night.”
