People's Alliance denies appointment to New Welfare Party

The tension between the New Welfare Party (YRP) and the AKP, whose negotiations for cooperation in the local elections have stalled, continues.

The YRP, which supported AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan by taking part in the People's Alliance during the general elections, has decided to enter the local elections with its own candidates.

While YRP Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç announced that alliance negotiations with the AKP had stalled, a new development has occurred in Kocaeli.

New Welfare Party (YRP) Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Prof. Dr. Doğan Aydal organized courtesy visits to political parties in Kocaeli.

During these visits, Aydal met with Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi) Provincial Chairman Halil Kayın, DEVA Party Provincial Chairman Zeynep Aydın Sudan, and CHP Provincial Chairman Bülent Sarı. In a post he shared on social media following these visits, Aydal expressed his gratitude for their hospitality.

PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE DID NOT GRANT YRP AN APPOINTMENT

It was noted that the AKP, MHP, and BBP, which make up the People's Alliance, did not participate in these visits by the New Welfare Party.

According to Aydal's statement, the meetings could not take place because there was no positive response to their requests for appointments from these parties.
