Pepper spray intervention against 'İmamoğlu' march in Muğla
In Muğla, police used pepper spray against CHP members protesting the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. During the intervention, CHP Provincial Youth Branch President Nazım Şardoğan and several others were detained.
The detention of Union of Municipalities of Türkiye and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is being protested in numerous locations. In Muğla, police intervened with pepper spray against those protesting the detention decision. It was reported that there were detentions during the intervention.
According to the report in Sözcü, police used pepper spray against a group that wanted to march to the courthouse following a press statement organized by the CHP Provincial Organization in Muğla.

Bodrum CHP District President Tuna Işın stated, "Muğla Provincial Organization executive Mehmet Barut, Provincial Youth Branch President Nazım Şardoğan, and some of our members are in custody. The police attacked the marching group with pepper spray."
Following the police intervention, the group returned to the CHP Provincial Building.
CHP Muğla Provincial Youth Branch President Nazım Şardoğan and 2 others, who were protesting the detention of TBB and IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in front of the Muğla Courthouse, were taken into custody.
