Poll results released amid early election debate: A major shock for the AKP

Yöneylem Research has published the findings of its Voter Trends survey conducted between June 26 and 30. The study, carried out with 2,400 people using the CATI method (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing), has a margin of error of +/-2 at a 95 percent confidence interval.

When considering party preferences for parliamentary elections (with undecided voters and non-voters distributed proportionally), the CHP emerged as the leading party, while the AKP came in second.

AKP 31 percent

CHP 34.5 percent

MHP 9.1 percent

İYİ Party 4.4 percent

DEM Party 9.1 percent

YRP 3.8 percent

ZP 4 percent

TİP 1.1 percent

Other 3 percent

4 PARTIES PASS THE THRESHOLD

Before the distribution of undecided voters and non-voters, 26.1 percent of voters across Turkey stated they would support the AK Party, 29 percent the CHP, 7.7 percent the MHP, 3.7 percent the İYİ Party, and 7.6 percent the DEM Party. The YRP receives 3.2 percent, the ZP 3.4 percent, and the TİP 1 percent support. Undecided voters were measured at 10 percent, while those inclined not to vote were measured at 5.7 percent.
