Poll results released amid early election debate: A major shock for the AKP
Following the March 31 local elections, the CHP, which has emerged as the leading party in many polls, has also taken the top spot in Yöneylem Research's June survey.
Yöneylem Research has published the findings of its Voter Trends survey conducted between June 26 and 30. The study, carried out with 2,400 people using the CATI method (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing), has a margin of error of +/-2 at a 95 percent confidence interval.
When considering party preferences for parliamentary elections (with undecided voters and non-voters distributed proportionally), the CHP emerged as the leading party, while the AKP came in second.
Here are the poll results:
AKP 31 percent
CHP 34.5 percent
MHP 9.1 percent
İYİ Party 4.4 percent
DEM Party 9.1 percent
YRP 3.8 percent
ZP 4 percent
TİP 1.1 percent
Other 3 percent

4 PARTIES PASS THE THRESHOLD
Before the distribution of undecided voters and non-voters, 26.1 percent of voters across Turkey stated they would support the AK Party, 29 percent the CHP, 7.7 percent the MHP, 3.7 percent the İYİ Party, and 7.6 percent the DEM Party. The YRP receives 3.2 percent, the ZP 3.4 percent, and the TİP 1 percent support. Undecided voters were measured at 10 percent, while those inclined not to vote were measured at 5.7 percent.
