Polls hidden from Erdoğan: Where did İmamoğlu and Yavaş rank in those surveys

Kısa Dalga columnist Sedat Bozkurt addressed the latest poll figures for CHP's potential presidential candidates in his column today.

In his article titled "No one can win in the first round, Erdoğan cannot win in the second," Bozkurt claimed that a significant loss of votes has emerged in AKP's polls and that the person responsible for this loss is Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek.

Furthermore, information was provided that in one poll, Erdoğan was 9 percent behind Mansur Yavaş and 6 percent behind Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Bozkurt noted the following in his article:

"According to today's snapshot, if Erdoğan overcomes the constitutional hurdle with an early election decision, at least 4 serious candidates will compete in the upcoming presidential elections. Kurdish politics will field a strong candidate and reach the vote percentages they achieved previously. Otherwise, this political structure will not be able to maintain its existence as a party and will dissolve.

It seems that the existence of two candidates with an absolute possibility of winning is creating a major problem. However, since the issue has started to be discussed today, it is necessary not to avoid this discussion.

Although CHP has not yet officially announced its candidate, it has two candidates with high winning potential. In this four-candidate race, if the disputes cannot be overcome and a joint candidate is not put forward, no one will win in the first round.

If Erdoğan remains, his chances of winning in the second round are quite low, regardless of who his opponent is. I can say that there is no situation that would create stress for the CHP."
