Preparations complete: Çerçioğlu's transfer to AKP prompts CHP's Aydın rally

Preparations have been completed for the "Defending the National Will" rally that the CHP will hold in Aydın. CHP Aydın Provincial Chair Hikmet Saatçı expressed his belief that the rally will take place with high participation. Saatçı said, "We are confident that the area will be filled at the rally we will hold together with our Chairman Özgür Özel."

Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu's switch to the AKP continues to cause repercussions in the city and within the party. Saatçı stated, "Following Çerçioğlu's resignation, our membership registrations have reached a peak in all our districts."
