President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the meeting addressed bilateral relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, as well as global and regional issues.
During the call, Erdoğan stated that the Islamic world must demonstrate a unified and effective stance by exerting greater effort to end Israel's attacks on Palestine as soon as possible and to ensure the implementation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) ceasefire resolution.
President Erdoğan also congratulated the Saudi Crown Prince on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr during the meeting.
Erdoğan stated during the call that, "the Islamic world must demonstrate a unified and effective stance by exerting greater effort to end Israel's attacks on Palestine as soon as possible and to ensure the implementation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) ceasefire resolution."
