President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Madagascar President Rajoelina
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that there are many areas of cooperation between Turkey and Madagascar, particularly in the economy, and that increasing efforts to develop these areas is in the interest of both countries.
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met in Antalya with Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina, who is in Turkey for the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the meeting covered relations between Turkey and Madagascar, as well as regional and global issues.
During the meeting, Erdoğan stated that there are many areas of cooperation between Turkey and Madagascar, particularly in the economy, and that increasing efforts to develop these areas is in the interest of both countries.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the "Trade and Economic Cooperation Agreement Between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Madagascar" was also signed.
