President Erdoğan receives Kazakh Prime Minister Bektenov
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov at the Presidential Complex.
The meeting at the Presidential Complex was held behind closed doors.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan, regional and global issues, as well as Israel's attacks on Gaza and the latest situation in the region were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated that the Israeli administration is working to spread the conflicts to the entire region for the sake of its own political future, that the priority is to ensure an immediate and permanent ceasefire, and that the Organization of Turkic States could cooperate more comprehensively to deliver humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza.
President Erdoğan said that it is important to develop relations with Kazakhstan in areas such as counter-terrorism, economy, and others, particularly in the defense industry.
