President Erdoğan speaks in Kyrgyzstan: Will he break his silence on the 'trustee' appointments?
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did not provide any message regarding the appointment of trustees to Mardin, Batman, and Halfeti yesterday during the opening program of the 40th COMCEC Meeting. Today, Erdoğan spoke at the "Sixth Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council" in Kyrgyzstan. Erdoğan did not make any statement regarding the trustees.
Following the appointment of a trustee to the CHP-run Esenyurt Municipality, trustees were appointed to Mardin, Batman, and Halfeti yesterday morning.
It had been a matter of curiosity whether Erdoğan, who traveled to Kyrgyzstan today and spoke at the "Sixth Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council," would address the issue of the trustees.
Erdoğan, who also spoke yesterday at the opening program of the 40th COMCEC Meeting, did not provide a message regarding the trustees.
Highlights from Erdoğan's statements are as follows:
Our security relations will expand. The trade volume with Kyrgyzstan will reach 5 billion dollars. We are striving to further strengthen our cooperation. I believe that our fight against all forms of terrorism, especially FETÖ, will continue uninterrupted (with Kyrgyzstan).
