President Erdoğan speaks on return from Cyprus: Implies 'terrorists' regarding CHP

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered journalists' questions on the plane upon his return from Cyprus.

Criticizing CHP deputies, President Erdoğan said, "They are doing things that will be remembered with shame. Inciting the public to take to the streets, causing internal unrest, creating chaos, and providing an environment for provocations is over; they have now taken it to the point of driving a bus directly at the state's police. This heinous act has exceeded the boundaries of politics. This issue has now become a matter for the judiciary, not politics. What kind of mentality and poverty of character can order a bus to be driven at the police? Who targets our police? Terrorists," he said.

REGARDING THE MALTA ATTACKS

Israel is the greatest danger to international law. They have made it a habit to violate international law. The whole world knows that the ships were carrying humanitarian aid supplies and were acting within the framework of international navigation rules. Despite this, the execution of this attack is pure banditry, piracy. Israel is trying to defeat the Palestinians, whom it could not defeat with bombs and heavy weapons, by depriving them of food and medicine.

ISTANBUL EARTHQUAKE PREPARATIONS

Earthquakes are a reality of our country, and it is not possible to stop future earthquakes. However, it is possible to end the losses and build sturdy structures. For this reason, we are approaching the issue not with a cyclical and small-scale perspective, but with an understanding that sees the whole picture.

We will encourage on-site transformation and strengthen state-citizen cooperation. In addition to all this, we currently have a very strong AFAD. Our AFAD is working with all its units.

The moment of an earthquake is a fear; it comes and goes. But we must take our precautions at every moment. We are obliged to be intertwined with precaution. Our experts are warning about this on television. They are providing various information on what kind of precautions should be taken. But our people's awareness is increasing day by day. Along with this awareness, life continues. May God be our helper and supporter.

CHP BUS

Political ambitions and obsessions have taken CHP officials hostage. The balance has been completely lost. They are doing things that will be remembered with shame.

Terrorists. While our police work day and night for the security of our state and nation, how can you have a party bus driven at them? There was also a noteworthy point there. That female police officer was wearing a headscarf. At that moment, they were shouting "drive, drive, drive" from inside the bus. Later, the driver also confessed. "They said so, and I drove," he said. Thank God, our police officer escaped by running away. I immediately conveyed the situation to our Minister of Justice. Our Minister has also taken up the matter.
