Pro-government columnist makes claims about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Mansur Yavaş: 'Nothing will ever be the same in the CHP'

The Republican People's Party (CHP) has concluded its charter congress.

During the speech crisis that occurred on the second day of the congress, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who took the podium after CHP leader Özgür Özel and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, expressed his resentment by stating that he was informed only one hour prior that he would be speaking on the program.

It is said that Kılıçdaroğlu argues that the CHP is being poorly managed. It is expressed that he says, ‘We must save the CHP from these people.’”

“MANSUR YAVAŞ IS DETERMINED TO BE A CANDIDATE”

Touching upon the speech crisis experienced by Mansur Yavaş, Selvi continued as follows:

“Mansur Yavaş saw that the congress was held to polish Ekrem İmamoğlu. He is aware of what it means that İmamoğlu was notified three days in advance to give his speech, while he was asked to speak within the last hour. He saw that a conspiracy was set up to bring Ekrem İmamoğlu to the forefront in the presidential candidacy race and to take him out of the game. That is why he expressed his resentment. That is why he accused them of adding fuel to the fire of discord. He exposed the plan. While Ekrem İmamoğlu was trying to disqualify Mansur Yavaş, he woke a sleeping giant. İmamoğlu should think about what happens next.

Mansur Yavaş is determined in his presidential candidacy. He is starting trips to provinces in Central Anatolia, where the center-right and nationalist segments are strong. Mansur Yavaş saw that the reins in the CHP are in the hands of Özgür Özel and Ekrem İmamoğlu. He is aware that he will not get anything out of the CHP.
