Pro-government media announces: 3 MP transfers to AKP
A new claim has been added to the allegations that the AKP would begin transferring MPs following the local elections. It is claimed that the AKP will add 3 MPs to its ranks on August 14, the party's founding anniversary.
Following the March 31 local elections, the AKP, where 'change' is expected, is preparing for MP transfers.
According to a report in Sabah, at the ceremony on August 14, badges will be pinned on at least 3 members of parliament who have resigned from the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi), Future Party (Gelecek Partisi), and IYI Party, as well as some mayors.
It had been claimed that President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had asked for no rush on this matter, saying, "We do not engage in opportunism."
AUGUST 14 IS AWAITED
According to the report by Fatma Göksu from Sabah, the AKP is waiting for August 14 for the transfers in question. The AKP, which will celebrate its 23rd founding anniversary in 81 provinces, aims to crown the grand ceremony prepared with the slogan "Name: AK Party" with new transfers. At the ceremony to be held in Ankara, President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is expected to pin badges on at least 3 members of parliament who have resigned from the Felicity Party, Future Party, and IYI Party, as well as some mayors.
