Protocol crisis at CHP's July 15 commemoration
CHP Deputy Chairman Murat Bakan expressed his reaction, stating that they were not included in the protocol while attending the commemoration for the July 15 martyrs at the Special Operations Department.
Republican People's Party (CHP) Deputy Chairman Murat Bakan stated that his party was present at the Special Operations Department in Ankara's Gölbaşı district to commemorate the martyrs on the anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt, but that the CHP was not included in the protocol list.
In a video shared on social media, Bakan said, "We are here as the Republican People's Party to commemorate the July 15 martyrs, but our name is not on the protocol list."
Reacting to the CHP's exclusion from the official invitation list, Bakan remarked, "We will commemorate our martyrs this way, as the CHP, while standing."
Criticizing the state's approach to protocol, Murat Bakan expressed his frustration by saying, "This is the extent of their understanding of protocol, state affairs, and national unity and solidarity."
