Reaction from the Palace front: Accusations of hypocrisy against DEM Party
Chief Advisor to the President Oktay Saral has leveled harsh criticism at the DEM Party in statements made on social media. Saral used the term "hypocrisy" to describe the attitudes of certain party members.
Chief Advisor to the President Oktay Saral targeted the recent rhetoric and attitudes of the DEM Party in posts made on his personal social media account.
Saral stated that he finds the party's accusations against others unacceptable, alleging that it has failed to distance itself from the PKK.
In his post, Saral expressed the following:
'The expressions frequently used by DEM Party members have once again made it clear who is taking sides where. It is nothing but hypocrisy for those who cannot utter a single clear sentence distancing themselves from terrorism to come out today and label names like Ahmed Şara as “terrorists.” This rhetoric targeting Ahmed Şara is based not on truth, but on ideological blindness. Those who try to smear a name that stands by the oppressed and does not bow to imperialist plans are, in fact, revealing who they serve. There is no value in what a mentality that has been harvesting politics from this nation's pain for years, unable to say a single word to the PKK while blaming Turkey at every opportunity, says or whom it targets. It is simply tragicomic for those who cannot clean their own records to attempt to lecture others on morality. You should first learn to call Kandil, the baby killers, and those who drenched cities in blood with trenches “terrorists.”'
