YENİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir reacted to the news of high-level departures that came to the agenda following the debates linked to the fund crisis in capital markets.
Emir made a statement on his social media account regarding the resignation of Capital Markets Board (SPK) Chairman Mahmut Sütçü citing "health issues" and the retirement application of Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Osman Çelik.
"A TACTIC TO SLIP AWAY"
Describing the events as a "tactic to slip away," Emir argued that no steps toward dismissal or investigation had been taken. In his post, Emir stated, "The scam of the century is exploding, and no one is being held accountable! Tactics to slip away are being put into play immediately."
Drawing attention to the departures of SPK Chairman Sütçü and Deputy Minister Çelik, Emir said, "There are no dismissals, no investigations! Those who committed the scam are walking free, and the files of those who deposited money into the 'repentance account' are being closed quietly. The real culprits continue to sit in their seats."
Emir concluded his statement with the words, "You cannot close this matter this way; we will be following this until accountability is provided!"
