İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu attended the Environmental Promotion Project Launch Ceremony held in Büyükçekmece. In addition to İmamoğlu, Büyükçekmece Mayor Dr. Hasan Akgün, İSKİ General Manager Şafak Başa, and numerous citizens participated in the program.

In his speech there, İmamoğlu made important statements regarding the local elections.

İBB Mayor İmamoğlu, in his speech at the podium, provided information regarding the investments made and stated, "We have put an end to floods and water inundations at over 120 locations. From the moment we first arrived, we tackled this issue very quickly, stating that these images did not befit a modern Istanbul. From Haramidere in Esenyurt to Büyükçekmece, or from the Kuzguncuk Coast to other valleys, we have removed the problem of floods and water inundations from the agenda at over 120 locations. Therefore, it is not over. We will continue to carry out projects," he said.

Referring to the local elections, İmamoğlu said, "They took the election that was our right from our hands; I suppose after receiving this slap of democracy, they will not experience such mental lapses of interfering with the law and asking, 'How can we put a barrier or a stone in front of Ekrem' with such absurd lawsuits. They saw once how they were defeated by a wide margin when they did that. If they want to see it once more, go ahead and do it. See what happens.
