Most recently, Mustafa Ağca, a former municipal council member for Develi Municipality, announced that he has resigned from the İYİ Party along with his wife and 7 friends.
Announcing his decision to resign on his social media account, Ağca stated, "Dear friends, we have resigned from the İYİ Party—where my wife and I were involved since its founding, where we served on the district founding board, where my wife served as the head of women's policies, and where I served as a municipal council member for one term—along with my wife and 7 of our friends. I ask for the blessing of all my good friends. May God grant what is best for us."
