Results of the latest Ankara poll released! What is the point gap between Mansur Yavaş and Turgut Altınok?
ALF Research has shared the results of its latest election poll conducted in Ankara. According to the poll, there is a 4-point gap between the CHP candidate, incumbent Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, and the People's Alliance candidate, Turgut Altınok.
There is exactly 1 month left until the local elections on March 31, 2024. While political party leaders and mayoral candidates continue their election campaigns, public opinion research companies have also accelerated their polling efforts.
Most recently, ALF Research published the results of its latest poll for the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) elections.
In the poll, which was conducted between February 21-25 with 2,700 participants, the question "Which candidate will you vote for in the Ankara Metropolitan Mayoral election to be held on March 31, 2024?" was asked.
According to the poll results, the CHP candidate, incumbent ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş, came in first with 41.1 percent, while the AKP and MHP candidate, Turgut Altınok, received 37.5 percent of the vote.
While the DEM Party candidate was not among the options in the poll, the IYI Party candidate Cengiz Topel Yıldırım received 6.4 percent; the YRP candidate Suat Kılıç received 2.3 percent; and the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) candidate Bartu Soral received 2.1 percent.
