Revised after 15 years: MHP party bylaws adjusted for the Presidential Government System

Following the 14th Ordinary General Congress of the MHP, the party bylaws were revised after 15 years.

The bylaws were aligned with the transition from the parliamentary system to the presidential government system. It was stated that the bylaws now include provisions in line with the "Century of Turkey" goals.

Additionally, the number of board members for provincial and district organizations was increased to strengthen the party's internal structure.

EMPHASIS ON CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

According to Selda Güneysu from Cumhuriyet, the MHP, a partner in the People's Alliance, has stepped in to ensure that President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan can be a presidential candidate for one more term.

EARLY ELECTION REMARK

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın, in a program he attended the other day, made the statement: "There is a need for a strong leader and a strong head of state. The President must be a candidate once more. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) will either decide on an early election or make a constitutional amendment."

MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli had previously addressed Erdoğan, saying, "You cannot leave, you cannot leave the Turkish nation alone. We want to see you as the savior leader of the new century."
