Seat counts for parties in the IMM Assembly have been finalized!
Former Deputy Secretary General of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Buğra Gökce announced the seat counts for parties in the IMM Assembly in a post on his social media account.
As Turkey leaves the March 31 Local Elections behind, the objection process regarding the results has also been completed.
Former Deputy Secretary General of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Buğra Gökce shared information regarding the seat counts of parties in the IMM Assembly.
Stating that in 25 of Istanbul's 39 districts, the mayor and the district council majority belong to the CHP, Gökce noted the following;
“CHP: 185 + IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu
AKP: 129
MHP: 2”
Here is the post Gökce made on his X (Twitter) account;
"In 25 of Istanbul's 39 districts, the Mayor and the District Council majority are with the CHP. In Gaziosmanpaşa, although the Mayor is from the CHP, the council majority and the quota member who will come to the metropolitan assembly are from the AKP. In Bahçelievler, the Mayor is from the AKP, while the council majority and the first quota member coming to the IMM Assembly are from the CHP.
The 316-seat IMM Assembly will hold its first meeting on Monday, April 15."
