Seating arrangement in the Turkish Parliament is changing: MHP to sit next to DEM Party
The seating plan for political party groups in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey is changing. The new arrangement will affect two parties.
The seating arrangement in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) is changing for the new term.
According to the internal regulations, the seating order in the General Assembly is arranged from the political party group with the fewest members to the one with the most. However, the order changed after the SAADET–Gelecek Group was formed following the determination of the seating plan last year.
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli resolved the issue of the SAADET-Gelecek group, which had not been given front-row seats for a long time. With Bahçeli waiving one row of the MHP Group, the SAADET-Gelecek group was also represented in the front rows.
However, the SAADET-Gelecek Group was placed in the rows following the MHP group, rather than on the far left as the group with the fewest members, as stipulated by the internal regulations.

SAADET-GELECEK ON THE FAR LEFT
It has been decided to bring the seating arrangement into compliance with the internal regulations for the new legislative year. Accordingly, the political party group with the fewest members, the SAADET – Gelecek Party deputies, will sit in the last rows of the General Assembly, where MHP deputies currently sit.
İYİ PARTY IN SECOND PLACE
The İYİ Party, whose number of deputies has decreased following resignations, will be located next to the SAADET – Gelecek Group.

MHP TO MOVE NEXT TO DEM PARTY
In the General Assembly rows, the MHP, DEM Party, CHP, and AK Party will be seated in order after the İYİ Party.
