Sinan Oğan introduced the Turkey Alliance Party with these words
Turkey Alliance Party Chairman Sinan Oğan stated that his party is composed of nationalist, conservative, and Kemalist masses.
Sinan Oğan, who entered the 2023 Presidential elections as the candidate of the ATA Alliance and supported AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the second round of the election, has announced the political line of the newly founded Turkey Alliance Party.
Explaining the meaning of the colors in his party's logo, Oğan said, "Blue symbolizes Turkism, red symbolizes modernity, and green symbolizes Islam" he said.
Oğan's statements defining his party are as follows:
"It represents Turkism, modernity, the Red Apple, the crescent and star, and Islam.
A political formation positioned on the right, composed of nationalist, conservative, and Kemalist masses."
MADE A REFERENCE TO ÖZEL
Oğan, who had previously reacted to CHP leader Özgür Özel's use of the name 'Turkey Alliance', "The privilege of using this name belongs solely to the official identity of the Turkey Alliance" he remarked, making a pointed reference.
HE HAD SAID 'THE OWNER OF THE PLACE IS BACK'
In a statement he made last June, Oğan had addressed CHP leader Özel, "We advise them to find another name for themselves. The owner of the place is back now." he had stated.
Oğan had spoken as follows:
"We have come to change the generation of politics in Turkey. Our name is the Turkey Alliance Party. This name was found by the members of the Turkey Alliance Party and the Turkish Nation, but recently, Republican People's Party Chairman Özgür Özel has been using our party's name because they see it. It never occurred to me that the Chairman of the great CHP would use our party's name, but it happened. I would like to ask Özel, what happened to your Nation Alliance? We will not allow anyone to commit intellectual property theft."
A year has passed since the elections. We waited, we waited despite the slanders thrown at us. We waited for our people to give us their due. Our nation has seen why we made such a decision. In the 2023 General Elections, our base wanted us to support the People's Alliance. A portion of our base wanted us to remain neutral, while another portion wanted us to support the Nation Alliance candidate."
