SOL Party statement on 'framework law': The government's goal is to make the regime permanent
The SOL Party argued that the legislative proposal known in the public as the "framework law" is not aimed at a democratic solution to the Kurdish issue.
The SOL Party issued a written statement regarding the "Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration," which was prepared within the scope of the process carried out under the name "Terror-Free Turkey" and is known in the public as the "framework law."
In its statement, the party claimed that the proposal is not aimed at a democratic solution to the Kurdish issue. Arguing that the process should not be turned into a bargain that will extend the life of the government, the statement said, "The silencing of weapons and the end of the war is the common aspiration of the entire society. The steps to be taken for this are not things that anyone would oppose."
In its statement, the SOL Party claimed that the government's real goal is to pave the way for "lifelong presidency" for President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and to make the current regime permanent with a new constitution.
''The government's goal, as stated in the expressions it put forward at the very beginning of the process, is to pave the way for a lifelong presidency for Erdoğan and to make the political Islamist fascist regime permanent with a new constitution.''
The statement also claimed that the process is part of the US and Israel's search for a new order in the Middle East. The SOL Party argued that an order shaped on ethnic and sectarian grounds will not bring peace and democracy.
The party stated that "democracy, brotherhood, peace, and living together" can only be possible through a struggle carried out in unity and solidarity, and expressed that the people should act "without being deceived by the traps being set."
