Spectrum House's latest Istanbul poll released: The gap is 5 points!

The Spectrum House Research Center has released its latest report on the March 31, 2024, local elections in Istanbul. According to the report, incumbent IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is 5 points ahead of AKP's IMM candidate Murat Kurum.

According to the research, which was conducted between March 15-20 with 2,158 people residing in 26 districts of Istanbul, the vote gap between İmamoğlu and Kurum was higher before undecided voters were included in the survey.

According to the poll, İmamoğlu receives 36.9 percent of the vote, while Murat Kurum receives 31.5 percent. Among undecided voters, the rate of those who say they will vote for Murat Kurum if they go to the polls is higher.

AZMİ KARAMAHMUTOĞLU CAME IN LAST

In the research, the vote share for DEM Party candidates Meral Danış Beştaş and Murat Çepni was determined to be 4.7 percent; IYI Party candidate Buğra Kavuncu's vote share was 2.6 percent; New Welfare Party (YRP) candidate Mehmet Altınöz's vote share was 3.7 percent; and Zafer Party candidate Azmi Karamahmutoğlu's vote share was 3.3 percent.

41.6 percent of DEM Party voters and 30.7 percent of IYI Party voters stated that they would vote for their own candidates.

İMAMOĞLU RECEIVES VOTES FROM ALL PARTIES

On the other hand, according to the research, 47.4 percent of DEM Party voters, 52.3 percent of IYI Party voters, 13.6 percent of MHP voters, 8.3 percent of AKP voters, 19.4 percent of YRP voters, 18.8 percent of Zafer Party voters, and 80.8 percent of TİP voters will vote for Ekrem İmamoğlu.
