YENİ Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre made statements regarding the investigation into capital market transactions. Speaking after the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting, Emre stated that they have formed a working group within the party to address the issue.
In his assessment of the picture emerging from the investigation, Emre noted that they are talking about a massive economic loss when considering the losses in the stock market and the grievances of citizens. Emre said, "When we aggregate both the losses in the stock market and the grievances of our citizens, we are talking about a 90 billion dollar loss."
Drawing attention to economic conditions, Emre warned of a "major bottleneck" for the upcoming period. Reminding that they have called for "sharing the names of those who profited and taking measures to cover the losses of small investors," Emre stated that the investigation must be conducted transparently without political interference.
"NOTHING REMAINS HIDDEN"
In his statement, Emre also directed questions regarding certain names. Asking whether there is a partnership or network of relations between Ali Emre Ballı and Mustafa Yazıcı, Emre said they are awaiting answers to allegations that Ballı conducted transactions close to 9 billion liras, while Yazıcı made purchases worth 600 million liras.
Stating that "in today's age of technology, nothing remains hidden, it can only be delayed," Emre demanded that those responsible be brought to justice and that the grievances be compensated from the assets of those who caused this process.
Emre also stated that the party congress calendar is proceeding and that the congress will be held on November 14-15. He noted that discussions regarding the party's name did not come up during the meeting.
